Would you and your staff be responsible for correcting and/or entering any data that was not properly synced because of a conflict or would that be my burden?
Our staff is always on call to help with order data/correction regardless of the situation.
IRIS has a ton of recovery options for these cases. First, regardless if a connection is lost or not, the order will always be saved to the local machine before anything else. So there is no danger of losing an order.
There is also BATCH SYNC tool in the POS that you can run at any time after your connection returns from an outage. It will sync orders with our server that were not uploaded due to no connection.
We also have an ORDER RECOVERY module in the BackOffice that you can run. The recovery tool will "loop" through every order taken on that computer and cross reference the data with the server.
If any order is missing, it will be upload to the SQL server.
