How to change the default sales tax rate?

To change the default sales tax rate, you need to first make sure that your desired sales tax rate is set up as a tax code.

• Once the tax code has been added, go to the admin section and select SYSTEM SETUP from the TOOLS menu.

• From the POINT OF SALE tab, select GENERAL SETTINGS.

• Once in the general settings window, select your DEFAULT TAX CODE.
• Once chosen, click SAVE.

• Repeat on each station.
