Downloading IRIS on a Second Register or Replacement Computer:
Before starting, go to the back end of IRIS on the master computer, click on Help in the top left, then click on Upload File for Database Sync. (This will put all of the information on the server)
Here is the information you will need to complete the set up on the new computer.
First download Adobe Air.
Then download IRIS.
Enter your UN and PW. Upon hitting the LOGIN button, it will prompt you for your license key (it is easiest to copy and paste it into the field) then click the VALIDATE button.
Go to the ADMIN section and select HELP from the top left side of the screen. From the help menu, click SYNC WITH MASTER REGISTER.
Follow the prompts until you see a green check mark.
Now, you can return to the product pad screen by clicking the POS icon (computer in the top right corner).
If you do not see your tax rate, go to the ADMIN section, TOOLS, SYSTEM SETUP, POINT OF SALE, GENERAL, re-SAVE.
The only other thing you would need to set up would be your printers. The rest of the information will copy right over from your master.
