To Set Up Loyalty Points:
- Go to the Customer Center
- Search for a Customer
- Select Customer and Click on the Options Tab (Here you will set up your Earning Points Conversion Settings)
- First check the Enable Loyalty Points Box
- You will be able to decide if there is a minimum required for redemption, how much 1 loyalty point is equal to, if there is a maximum allowed in an invoice, if you would like to restrict loyalty points to house charges.
- Next, you will decide on the redeeming points conversion settings. You must enter a redeeming point amount as well as a redeeming point value.
Formula for calculating loyalty points:
$ amount spent / $ amount per point = redeeming point
redeeming point x value of redeeming point = total amount of credit earned
For Example: If you would like your customers to receive a $25 credit for every $500 spent, your formula would read: $500 / $20(1 Loyalty Point is Equal to $) = 25 x $1(Redeeming Point Value$) = $25
- Once you have entered all of your loyalty point information, click the SAVE button in the bottom right corner.
To Redeem Loyalty Points:
- Enter the customer's order as usual.
- Once you are ready to apply payment, click on the loyalty button with the green heart.
- A window will appear which shows the amount of points that they have redeemable. Enter the amount that you would like to redeem and click the apply button.
